Term Two (and Semester 1) has come to an end. It has been an incredibly busy term - Peer Support, Cross country, many sporting events involving a large number of students in our class, ICAS competitions, Maths Olympiad, Australian Identity, Starry Starry Night Showcase, Performing Arts Festival - the list goes on. All the while 6W have been learning and striving to reach each of their learning goals! Well done everyone! I hope you enjoy your well-earned break!
Our Australian Identity ' Australia Through The Decades' was a fantastic success and everyone deserves congratulations for their in-depth research and outstandingly well presented work on Thursday. We had a terrific roll-up of parents who were very impressed by the way we were able to create an interactive, living timeline of Australian History.
The day finished with a display of some fantastic BUSHDANCING! Check out the movie below and watch us doing the 'Heel and Toe Polka' and 'The Waves of Bondi' to name just two.
