Some things that define Australia are: 1. We are easy going people who enjoy being given a fair go. 2. Ned Kelly (a famous Australian bushranger) 3. Albert Namatjira (one of Australia's great artists, and maybe even the best known Aboriginal painter) 4. The Australian accent and 'Strine' language 5. The Sydney Opera House 6. The ability to not take anything too seriously 7. We are a sport-loving nation 8. Weary Dunlop (perhaps Australia's most well known veteran of WW2 because of his medical work with the Australian prisoners of the Japanese and his welfare work on their behalf after the war) 9.We have a unique sense of humour, and 10. Captain Cook (he was the first recorded European to make contact of Australia's eastern coastline. I am sure you would've heard of him by now)
There was also some other ones in the video clip, but I couldn't understand what they meant or couldn't hear them properly.
